Summer Milestones

We’ve been away from home for a month and a half now but I feel so much has changed with the kids! I don’t know maybe there’s something in the water or the salt in the air but our kiddos seem to be in fast forward here.  Here’s a mental list I’ve been keeping that I’m happy to share and happy to get out of my head where things don’t stay too long these days:)

  • The girls are saying so much more, putting 2 words together, repeating everything.
  • Little Mister’s imagination is growing, growing, growing! He always has a new, amazing adventure for his action heroes.
  • The girls are climbers! On couches, kitchen chairs and tables…pretty much anything they can get to.

  • Our extroverted son does have a limit. Sometimes he does need a break from people.

  • The girls have become OCD! They don’t like dirt, food etc. on them, or anything they are touching.
  • Little Mister can get on the potty all by himself and does need Elmo potty seat anymore.
  • The girls are getting pretty good at using silverwear. And even can eat cereal with milk for breakfast!
  • Miss T can distinguish between colors and is picky about which baby, milk cup or water bottle she has.
  • Miss K is our Miss Priss. Loves dress up, hats, purses and jewlery.

  • Not just a little man gets timeouts but also 2 little girls. Miss K will often put herself in timeout if she knows she did something with out me telling here or will walk herself over when told. She sits and wait patiently for me or come over and talk to her. Miss T on the other hand needs to be carried or dragged to timeout and she stomps the whole way. She will not stay in timeout unless I’m watching her the whole time and has a stinky, pouty look the whole time. What a difference!

  • Little Mister is growing in his confidence in who he is and what he does.
  • We have a big boy and 2 little girls!
