This is Theia today at the park. It’s such a sweet pic of our little big girl trying the monkey bars with mommy’s help. This simple picture brought a lot of emotion to my heart and mind.
I love the look of anticipation and joy in her face in what is to come. Also the feeling of trust and confidence she has knowing I will not drop her.
I will not let her go.
I am here.
What I see here in Theia’s face is what I am feeling right now and what God is reminding me.
I have joy for what is to come.
I am anticipating great things. Great in the sense that He will provide for my every need as He sees fit.
I am trusting in Him and confident in Him.
My security is in Him alone
because
He is here for me and will not let me go.

So beautifully written, Aub. I’m going through a similar season of growing in trust, finding the joy in it, and learning lots during the waiting process. God has great things in store for us, girl! Whatever happens, we know it’ll be for our good and for His glory. To be confident in the Lord is exactly where He wants us to be.
