Livin’ the dream

Right now Brian is living his dream in San Fransico. Well maybe not THE dream but A dream of his. He is at the Inbound Marketing Summit. Honestly, I don’t feel like I could describe it more than a place where experts of social media are gathering together to share knowledge.  You’ll have to check out the link to see what is really going on there. Social media has become a new passion of Brian’s in the last couple of years. I love to see his excitement learning this new thing, sharing it with others and thinking through how to use it in ministry. I see and hear a sense of purpose in him that is so exciting when he so graciously tries to explain it all to me! And I do believe he is heading in the right direction. The Blogference that I talked about here went so well he got a personal call from Steve Douglas the President of Campus Crusade for Christ encourgaing him in what he is doing! So cool! Unfortunately Brian was out of town. But I took the call and chatted it up with Stevie D. for about 10 minutes or so. Yep, we’re really tight now. Look at me trying to steal Brian’s glory =) Anyways… right now he is at a 2 day conference in the middle of the city. He’s sitting through a lot of seminars in the midst of entrepreneurers, techies and business men and women soaking it all in. I think this is so awesome for him. I admire how Brian puts himself out there a lot, even sometimes stepping on others toes with humility of course, to try new things. He really goes the extra mile to get out of his comfort zone and learn new things. I think as we get older it’s so easy to get complacent with where we are at and to let fear creep in inhibiting us to try new things. This is not something I see in my husband and I really that appreciate about him. I’m so excited to see how God is going to use this in his life and in our family’s future!
